Professional Skills
As well as having been involved in the creation of over 50 websites, I have also had the opportunity to be part of a management team, overseeing 40 people, collectively working together to create an in depth analysis of a company's expansion into Europe. The end result of this was a 200 page report, and a presentation to the director of the company.
I have also collaborated with many other web design companies whilst working as a freelancer, to carry out creative work, give valued input on web accessibility and to manage the completion of projects.

Employment History
frooly - Front End Developer (April 2009 - Current)
I have been involved in quite a number of aspects of frooly. From planning the SEO strategy, to building and maintaining the main website with the frooly CMS. I have also worked on aspects of usability and user experience, ensuring that business objectives are met. (Sometimes working through the night to meet insanely tight deadlines!)
Select Property - Web Designer (January 2009 - April 2009)
I developed a number of company websites whilst working alongside a developer and a graphics designer. My role was to adapt visualisations for the web and incorporate them into the functionality built by the developer. I was also able to utilise my SEO knowledge to push the company up within Search Engines resulting in more visitors.
FirstFound - SEO Consultant (July 2008- December 2008)
Working closely with clients to ensure that their websites are optimised properly for as many Search Engines as possible. I also built websites for clients and the company to the latest web standards and for multiple platforms including the growing mobile web trend.
Self-Employed Web Designer/Developer (2005-2008)
I have been fortunate enough to have been involved with the creation of over 50 websites. I have built excellent working relationships with other web design companies whilst working as a freelancer, carried out creative work, given valued input on web accessibility and web standards, and managed the completion of many projects.
The Pier - Sales Assistant (2005-2006)
Understanding customer needs within this job were crucial in order to sell furniture and accessories which would suit their requirements within the home. Good communication in this role was paramount.
Sainsbury’s - Checkout Supervisor (2003-2005)
I got my thirst for leadership when I applied for a promotion within my job at Sainsbury’s. My role then became more hands-on and I was responsible for a team of 20 checkout staff and accountable for ensuring the takings from the day were securely locked and checked which meant handling very large amounts of cash.
